Bonnie Easley-Appleyard

SUP Yoga Instructor

Throughout her life, Bonnie has dreamt big, living in Florida and Hawaii training and caring for dolphins and sea lions. She continued to dream big in Alaska doing sea otter, beluga whale, and polar bear research. One day she tried yoga and her dreams grew even bigger.  Being able to teach paddle board yoga brings her two worlds together. In 2012, Bonnie completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training locally at Anchorage Yoga and continued her education when receiving a certification to teach SUP yoga from Bliss Paddle Yoga in California. She is currently a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200 with Yoga Alliance. She has instructed over 350 hours of yoga with 6,000 plus yogis. Come join her out on the water this summer to experience this challenging but blissful yoga practice.

Sami Glascott

SUP Yoga Instructor

Raised in Alaska, Sami has lived here for over 25 years and is a certified yoga, paddleboard, and paddleboard yoga instructor. After years of climbing the corporate ladder, she started her own business called Unravel, an Alaskan wellness company. Her goal is to share the benefits of yoga as a moving meditation that incorporates a focus on mindfulness, breathing, strengthening, flexibility, balance, and endurance.  For her, yoga provides a foundation that allows her the ability to bike, hike, run, skate ski, and paddle. Sami will attest that there is nothing better than a vigorous paddle followed by a vinyasa flow; floating shavasanas on a quiet Alaskan lake are amazing. Taking her practice to the water on a SUP is pure bliss that she truly loves sharing with others.
